AIR WEBSITE DESIGN

As part of an HTML/CSS course, a responsive website that promotes the French electronic band AIR and its recent tour was created. The site provides basic information about the band, including biographies, news, discography, music videos, tour schedule, and merchandise for sale. Knowing the tour was focused on the band’s debut album, Moon Safari, some of the aesthetics were derived from the 1968 epic sci-fi film directed by Stanley Kubrick, 2001: A Space Odyssey.

The final navigation and organization of the site was arrived at via wireframes. The buildout was done by adapting W3 Schools’ CSS/HTML templates. The site employs various functions, including accordions, carousels, lightbox effects, scrollable text, sortable table and embedded videos. It can be accessed here on GitHub.
